The Freedom  Experience takes you to unique places of this beautiful island. Explore the majestic scenery of the northern central Cretan peninsula and take away the stress of everyday life, and enjoy all the majestic sites this tour has to offer.

We start our tour and visit the impressive village of Fodele. Here we make a stop at a byzantine monastery where you are able to experience  and observe how monastic life is percieved in our present day. We also visit the museum of Dominikos Theotokopoulos, also known as El Greco, the most famous painter in Greece, and considered as one of the worlds most well known artists of his time.

Our next stop and a very short walk takes us to  a beautiful cave which is of archaelogical and historical interest. From there we visit a olive oil mill where you will see old and new methods used for olive oil production. In the same village we also pay a quick visit to a honey workshop where you are able to get informed about new an old methods of  honey production.

Next, we visit the village of Margarites, famous for its pottery tradition. We then drive to the ancient city-state of Eleftherna. Our next stop is the sacred Monastery of Arkadi, also known as the Freedom monastery as it symbolizes the struggles of the Cretan people to remain free at all costs, and thus making the Monastery of Arkadi one of the most famous monasteries in Crete.
