Our day trip to the Lasithi plateau takes you to all 18 villages which surround this scenic Plateau. There, you'll experience Cretan Hospitality at its best. Guests who would like to see the cave of Dikteon Andron have this option. The Dikteon Cave  is the legendary cave where Zeus was born. We will also be visiting the monastery of Kera. In the villiage of Saint George, we'll visit the Folklore & Historical Museum. A tasty delicious traditional lunch with home made wine follows. We continue our trip to Agios Nikolaos where you'll see gorgeous views of lake Voulismeni, which is in the center of the town. We then drive up the hill to Elounda and the small fishing villiage of Plaka where you will see fantastic views of the old Venetian fort Spinalonga, which is a small island near Elounda. Our trip ends here with traditional greek coffee in Plaka. Guests who would like to take a boat to Spinalonga can do so on boats that take you there.
